Sydney, prior to this installation, did not have an indoor training facility specifically for Tennis. The desired outcome was to provide an indoor training/ warm up facility for the Sydney International and provide an indoor facility for the general public to play tennis all year round – despite the weather conditions.
Using a Veldeman fabric structure, once used at Melbourne Park, A three designed & obtained approvals to use a temporary fabric structure in a permanent application. Now used by International Tennis players and the general public a remarkable space has been created.
